WELCOME TO
THE BiG BANG FESTIVAL 2024!

26–27 OCTOBER, 2024.
NANADISA, DIMA HASAO.

THE BIG BANG FESTIVAL IS MAKING A GRAND COMEBACK ON OCTOBER 26-27, 2024, IN NANADISA, A SMALL, SUSTAINABLE VILLAGE SURROUNDED BY LUSH GREEN FORESTS IN DIMA HASAO DISTRICT OF ASSAM. THE VILLAGE IS LOCATED AT A DISTANCE OF 35 KMS FROM HAFLONG, THE HEADQUARTERS OF THE DISTRICT. THIS UNIQUE, FAMILY-FRIENDLY FESTIVAL CELEBRATES MUSIC, CULTURE, AND THE INDIGENOUS WAY OF LIFE. THE THEME OF THIS YEAR’S FESTIVAL IS "VILLAGE IS THE FUTURE" – HIGHLIGHTING THE IMPORTANCE OF LOCAL COMMUNITIES, SUSTAINABLE LIVING, AND THE POWER OF NATURE-BASED SOLUTIONS FOR A HEALTHIER PLANET.

THE FESTIVAL IS ROOTED IN THE CONCEPT OF LOCALIZATION, WHERE THE FOCUS IS ON EMPOWERING LOCAL ECONOMIES, TRADITIONAL KNOWLEDGE SYSTEMS, AND FOSTERING MEANINGFUL CONNECTIONS BETWEEN VISITORS AND THE INDIGENOUS COMMUNITY. WE AIM TO OFFER A SPACE WHERE FAMILIES AND CONSCIOUS TRAVELLERS CAN EXPLORE HOW VILLAGES LIKE NANADISA CAN BE CENTERS OF INNOVATION, SUSTAINABILITY, AND CREATIVITY.
